About
I am a theoretical physicist and string theorist from Dublin, Ireland.
My research is on Kac-Moody algebras and the role such algebras play as fundamental hidden symmetries in M-theory, string theory, and gravity. In particular, on the hidden $E_{11}$ symmetry of m-theory at low energies.
A list of my publications is given on arXiv, InspireHEP, and Google Scholar. A non-technical motivation for each work is provided in Research.
I am currently at Trinity College Dublin in the School of Mathematics as a Teaching Fellow (broadly equivalent to a Visiting Assistant Professor in the U.S.) since September 2026, where I will continue my research alongside teaching and giving talks.
Prior to this, I was a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) in Okinawa Japan during 2024 - 26.
Before this, I obtained my PhD in Mathematics with the Theoretical Physics Group at King's College London (KCL) in 2023, under the supervision of Professor Peter West FRS.
