About
I am a theoretical physicist and string theorist from Dublin, Ireland.
My research is on Kac-Moody algebras and the role such algebras play as hidden symmetries in M-theory, string theory, and gravity. In particular, on the hidden $E_{11}$ symmetry of m-theory at low energies.
A list of my publications is given on arXiv, InspireHEP, and Google Scholar. A non-technical motivation for each work is provided in Research.
Recently I was a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) in Okinawa Japan.
Before this, I obtained my PhD in Mathematics with the Theoretical Physics Group at King's College London (KCL) in 2023, under the supervision of Professor Peter West FRS.
In September 2026 I joined the School of Mathematics at Trinity College Dublin as a Teaching Fellow, where I will continue my research alongside teaching and giving talks, and I can be contacted here.
